What plan options are available?
Free or low-cost Apple Health is available year-round. The plans offered through Washington Healthplanfinder go through an annual approval process with the Office of the Insurance Commissioner followed by certification through the Washington Health Benefit Exchange Board. At the start of open enrollment, the upcoming year plans are available for shopping.
If you recently lost your job or your health insurance through your employer, you might be eligible for free or low-cost coverage (Apple Health). Be sure to report changes to your income or apply for coverage within 60 days of the event (losing your job or health insurance through your employer).
Job loss could make you newly eligible for no-cost or low-cost coverage through Washington Apple Health. Report your current income when applying for coverage through Washington Healthplanfinder.
Note: If you also lost coverage from your employer, this opens a Special Enrollment Period for you to shop for a plan. Plan selection must occur within 60 days from the qualifying life event.
If you are an existing customer, sign in and select "Report a Change" to update your income. You'll receive updated eligibility based on your new income.
