The Health Insurance Premium Tax Credit is available for people who meet the following criteria:
Applicable taxpayer (married couples must file taxes jointly; with the exception of same sex married couples)
Household income is between 138-400 percent of the federal poverty level (including lawfully present immigrants who have income less than 138 percent of the federal poverty level, but have not met the 5 year requirement for federal assistance to qualify for Washington Apple Health)
US Citizen or National; or
A Lawful Permanent Resident; and
Not incarcerated; and
A resident of Washington;
Not be eligible for other minimum essential coverage
